MadeMe - Fall ‘08 Collection

Designer Erin Magee for MadeMe releases press photos from her new Fall ’08 collection, showcasing her special collaboration with Artist James Blagden and Designer Peggy Noland. The Fall collection features flannel shirts, leather motorcycle jackets, french inspired printed tees and a collaboration introducing artist James Blagden. In conjunction, MadeMe also previews leggings and bomber jackets designed by both MadeMe and Peggy Noland. It’s fresh, edgy, colorful and perfect for the new fall season.
“This collection is French inspired - playing on the language to create bold, expressive statements. Speaking of bold, I also wanted to collaborate with James Blagden because of the way he raises contemporary and even taboo issues with humor in his artwork, specifically when he intentionally draws pretty girls only to have them revealed as ugly.” The MadeMe Fall ‘08 collection continues to celebrate style and self-expression.
Roberto Cavalli to Dress Diet Coke

Roberto Cavalli was chosen to design a new look for Diet Coke, or as they say in Italy, Coca Light. Cavalli will deck out the tiny bottles in three designs featuring his staple animal spots and stripes. The limited edition bottles will be available in Italy from September through December. Cavalli compared creating looks for the 300,000 curvy containers to designing dresses for his customers, making them, “seductive and feminine, in typical Cavalli style.” -Cavalli

M·A·C Cosmetics x Manish Arora

Lately, M·A·C Cosmetics keeps a busy schedule due to all their collaborations and new releases, also adding Indian designer Manish Arora in creating limited edition color cosmetics collection to their list. Line up of items will consist of a six-shade eye shadow compact, dubbed Eyes On Manish; two lipsticks; two hues of Lipglass, and two shades of Powder Blush. Prices will range from 10.50 pounds, or $20.90 at current exchange, for a Lipglass to 30 pounds, or $59.72, for the eye shadow palette.
The collection, which features packaging decked out in riotous colors, will be available in the U.K., the United Arab Emirates, France, Austria, Greece, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore from October for about one to two months.
