Over the weekend we took a stroll down the fashion boutiques and I came across the Louis Vuitton store where they displayed a new design at their window. The Tahitienne Collection took me by surprise since it’s very different from the usual LV collection we’ve seen. This time rather than their tiny monogram prints they’ve manage to go bigger where the inspiration for this print came from a catalogue published back in 1924. This cute canvas bag is versatile because the opening can either be hooked together (like the way they are shown above) to give it that trapezoid shape OR they can be left unhooked with the corners pointing out (resulting in a more traditional rectangular shaped tote). First thing that came to mind, this would make great beach totes! The prices for the Tahitienne Collection range from $1,000 to $1,160 and are now available at selected LV boutiques.
