Lady La. That’s short for??

Lastassia “luh-stah-see-ah” I was the only female on an all male morning show in Phoenix. So even though I wasn’t at the time, they gave me the name ‘lady’ and ‘la’ has been a nickname since college.

Are you an AZ native?

Tucson is my hometown, I was born there. Phoenix is where I was raised. I am an AZ native….and there isn’t a lot of us. A lot of people here are Cali or outta state transplants.

Many know of Lady La as the voice behind the speakers, but what do most NOT know about you? Any hidden talents/aspirations?

Most people don’t know a LOT because even though my position is public my personal business isn’t. I paint large canvas. I love to cook. I used to dance Hula before I got into radio, and I am a health conscious yoga freak.

Prior to radio hosting, what did you do?

I got in when I was 19 years old. I was in college, looking for a way to stack a salary while I was going to school. I went from late night lounging to early bird grinding at 3:45 am for the next 5 years.

How has your career affected your lifestyle?

My career IS my lifestyle. music. clubs. charity. travel. food. friends. ALL THE TIME.

If you weren’t working in the entertainment industry, where would you be?

Living overseas or in the military.

I once read about your sneaker infatuation. What are some of your coveted designs?

Honestly, I’m growing out of the shoe game. I can still appreciate a good pair tho. I’ve held on to my Serena Williams dunks (my AKA used to be Serena Trilliams) a few pairs of court fource hi’s I scored while in Japan, and my Kendo x Adidas collab kicks.

One thing about a MAN that catches your attention.

I like the silent type. the ones that own the spot but don’t want to be in the photo. I’m a sucka for a great smile & smell good.

If you were given your own reality show, what would your show be called and what should we expect to see?

La Vida Incredible. The things I do by the time my peers are just rolling over and waking up is crazy. I STAY busy. Between my on-air career, TheFreshFiends.com, modeling/acting, working out and international traveling….I’m the busiest not famous person I know. My dating life is a joke and loyalty to my family sometimes causes me folly. I would do a show to let folks know that there are YOUNG, MINORITY, FEMALES out here with a message and a mission. And if u were watching me, u would laugh and cry.

This summer I want to start calling motherf*ckers out and do less apologizing.
