Everyone meet our newest Femme Fatale, Ms. Tara King. She’s got killer looks, impeccable style and a voice that’ll put most artist to shame. If she’s not laying down the lyrics in the studio, she’s probably lied up at the beach or playing dress up. We got the chance to get up close and personal with this prima donna and I must say, she’s quite the catch! Enjoy her rundown below.

Hi Tara! Tell us one thing about yourself that makes you a fatale attraction?
I am RESILIENT. If I’m knocked down, it won’t be for long. I was raised by a single mother and I bear the last name King, nuff said ;]
People always perceived me as high maintenance/hard to please but have no idea that I am really easy going. As long as I’m in good company I’m cool. I don’t need to be at the hot spots or keep up with the Jones’. Just good conversation and good energy is enough for me.
What do you like to do during your downtime?
BEACH and more BEACH, talking and sharing thoughts. I like to see where peoples heads are at, its insightful. Ummmm… Shopping and playing “dress up” is definitely up there, preferably at thrift stores haha :] And lastly people watching. I learn lots by just watching, its pretty entertaining too lol. Oh yeah that reminds me! Laughing! I love to laugh.
What’s the first thing you notice about a man?
NOTHING! So over them right now lol. Sigh… but when I’m not. Smiles. I like smiles :], and personal style/confidence. I don’t care what you wear, cause my style is always changing and I tend to just throw things on and experiment. But whatever you put on (cheap or expensive, practical or impractical) you better ROCK it and SMILE while doing it :]
Do you think chivalry is dead? Details please. :]
I don’t think its dead. I actually have a written list of qualities that a man would have to posess to even be considered by me, yes a list lol (you’re like, ‘i thought she was “easy going”?’ haha) It’s not a list like “he gotta be a baller and have dough”. But things like thoughtfulness, God-fearing, trustworthy and CHIVALRY are on there to name a few, not alot to ask in my opinion. I think both sexes get caught up at first, and then try to change the other person to what they want after the fact. No bueno. Know what you want and don’t want ahead of time. For me CHIVALRY is a definite MUST HAVE. I’ve been with some dudes that don’t even know how to open the door for me. I’m a lady so… be the man. How are you in the car and I’m still outside?? :[ lol I think It does exist I just couldn't tell you about it firsthand right now. Go figure! LOL I'm not worried he'll show up one of these days ;]
In your opinion, what’s one thing that men should do more of while knocking the boots?
I’m not into giving out cheat sheets. But I will say this. Pay attention to the ladies, fellas. Just PAY ATTENTION. Maybe I should say be in a COMMITTED relationship lol. Seriously though. That might cover the “consideration” needed to really pay attention to satisfy the other instead of just getting off. But just for the sake of “knocking the boots” talk, just pay attention. No REACTION = you’re NOT getting “IT” just stop. LOL (My parents are gonna kill me.)
If you were Rihanna during the Chris Brown incident, what would you have done?
I don’t really know about their situation and exactly what went down. But if a man would have hit me FIRST…….Oh its on! I would’ve got him with my boot like Tina!! We would’ve fought til the death lol! For real though :\ you can’t put your hands on a woman. Not cool, ever. But that goes both ways.
The person I would like to meet is ______ and why?
Andre 3000, I’m a BIG Outkast fan. I’d like to pick his brain about his transformation and journey. Maybe we could even do some thrift shopping together haha! He seems like he’d be down.
List five items you can’t leave home without.
A pair of earrings from my collection ( I have a serious addiction), MacBook (its my bff), Mascara, Ipod (must have music at ALL times) and now living the next 4 months in Singapore my Passport!
Do you have an alter-ego? If so, what’s her name?
I have a few different alter- egos, haven’t named them all yet. One of them is MC Lotus T :] she’s a rapper (Shhhhh, she doesn’t know she’s not very good, but she’s got heart lol) She can be pretty hardcore at times and she’s REEEEEAAAL WESTCOAST ;]
