Nas controversial “Untitled” album has raised mixed views since it was announced. He desensitizes the “N” word to take the negative cognitive meaning with tracks like “You Can’t Stop Us Now”“ and the “N.I.*.*.E.R. (the Slave and the Master).”
Nas is concreted in to hip hop culture as one our extraordinary innovators of music, he can bring up such a strong and touchy issue to the masses in “Nigger Hatred” and “Black President.” The overall album is a good product, but also a book of material that touches topics like world problems, to the Obama campaign. “Untitled” hasn’t reached the caliper of the ILLMATIC LP, but has definitely reached a point of quality music compared to his last two albums.
