Mariah Carey – Candy Bling/Standing O
Just so we’re clear — I don’t think Mariah has it like she use to. Singing live has gone downhill and her originality doesn’t exist at the moment. BUT, I will say this. When she’s backed by producers and songwriters like The Dream, you’re guaranteed success. After years of false hope for my once loved artist from the 90’s — I gave her a second chance and checked out her latest album, “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel”. I expected typical Mariah tracks that kept up with the times but to my surprise I found a few songs that I really enjoyed listening to. Although, the two featured below has The Dream sound, it’s still worth adding to your mix of random tracks for the road.
