That’s Stupid is the title of the mixtape, but that defiantly does not describe the quality of the new COOL KIDS mixtape. These funky fresh COOL KIDS aren’t bringing back the old school but starting a new sound and style that the masses haven’t listen to yet. From the sound of their production and flow you can tell that they are actually trying to give their fans some substance, instead of just giving the people what they think they want to hear. They rap about keeping it fresh and vivid stories of their life experiences. Mickey and Chuck’s vibe from this mixtape just give off a feel good feeling and raw lyrical skill.

With lyrics like “I’m the early bird in the tree your another worm, he’s so cold he can freeze in a ton of fur” give the average punch line listener what they are want to hear. The track, full and paid expresses their state of mind of money and how they approach the game. Every hip-hop listener should at least check out Oscar the Grouch and Full and Paid, because of the true quality of production and lyrics on those songs.

If you’re trying to catch these guys in a live concert they will be back from their tour in Europe on the 14th of this month. They will continue their momentum with their European shows right into Rock the Bells tour. We all know that if you’re a hip-hop head that’s the summer concert to go to. They will be kicking off the Rock the Bells tour with other major artists in Toronto, Ontario at the Arrow Hall. Be sure to check them out if they are in a city near you.
