Considered to be one of the best known painters of the graffiti scene, Miss Van (known as Vanessa Castex) started wall painting in the streets of Toulouse, France at the age of eighteen. Miss Van is just one facet of the thriving graffiti scene in Toulouse, but she has probably gained the most worldwide acclaim for her work. She has gone on to exhibit canvases in galleries across the globe - initiating the feminine movement in street art, she is now exhibiting all around the world from NY to LA, Europe (France, Spain, Italy, UK), and Asia. Last thanksgiving, Miss Van returned from Barcelona to open her exhibit show, “Atame” at GALERIE MAGDA DANYSZ. Where she showcased her intricate drawings and a watercolor canvas show for on lookers.
