Thanks to WWD, they provided new images from the McQueen x Target limited collection, “McQ” which McQueen debuted in Jan ‘06. Although compared to other designs by H&M, Comme des Garcons and Stella McCartney the designer collaborations with Target aims to deliver a series of established designers to the masses at low prices. McQueen will be the first designer to produce for Target’s Designer Collection (separate program from Target’s Go International collab) and will be priced under $130 - set to release in March of ‘09 at 250 stores and online at target.com. Not to crazy about it - it’s been done but not bad, not bad at all.
