I’m still not sure how I feel about Diddy singing. I mean he’s terrible at it, but with the help from autotune his voice becomes slightly bareable. This song took me a couple listens to appreciate and I must admit, it was actually B.I.G. on the track that persuaded my liking. I get that Diddy is trying to do something different with this group and be a bit more innovative with his sound, because afterall, the future is what’s in and the present is so passé (go figure). Before I can fully develop an opinion on Diddy’s group, Dirty Money, I need to hear more music. I get the direction that he’s going in and the sound he’s going for, so I’m very interested and curious to hear more. For now, check out the Hype Williams directed video for Dirty Money’s “Angels.”

(sidenote: Is the scene where he’s hoping on the motorcycle not COMPLETELY remnicisent of the begining of Aaliyah’s “If Your Girl Only Knew” video?!)
