Thanks to WWD, they provided new images from the McQueen x Target limited collection, “McQ” which McQueen debuted in Jan ‘06. Although compared to other designs by H&M, Comme des Garcons and Stella McCartney the designer collaborations with Target aims to deliver a series of established designers to the masses at low prices. McQueen will be the first designer to produce for Target’s Designer Collection (separate program from Target’s Go International collab) and will be priced under $130 – set to release in March of ‘09 at 250 stores and online at target.com. Not too crazy about what I see as of this point, but we’ll have to wait to get the full preview before making any judgments.
