Ok so we’ve all seen A Christmas Story; I’m sure you too have wanted a onesie as awesome as that pink bunny rabbit one (wait? just me? awkward.). No but really, you can’t deny the awesomeness that is a onesie, but all we’re left with are Snuggies (gag) and the new Forever Lazy (which btw, I’m still convinced is a huge practical joke on consumers). That was until I did some digging and found the perfect option! California Christiania Republic offers a modern and more stylish approach on comfort with their CCR jumpsuits ($149 USD). It’s no wonder CCR is already a favorite of Rihanna, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, who’ve all worn the jumpsuit religiously while on tour. Clearly I’m late on what is sure to be one of my most comfortable pieces in my Winter wardrobe. Onesies are moreso for bed (and 5 year olds; let’s be real), but the CCR jumpsuit is stylish enough to wear out in public — think a sweatshirt and sweats attached together with a zipper down the middle; can you get more comfy than that?!
Born and raised in killa Cali, I’m all about a laid back, chill lifestyle so I was even more of a fan of CCR when I found out more about the brand. CCR was conceived by Danish-born/Cali transplant Tonny Sorensen and was inspired by the free-spirited lifestyle of California and the super liberal, hippy, cannabis open society of Christiania, an artist enclave in Denmark (note to self: I must visit Christiania).
