Allow me to reintroduce myself — my name is MEL… M to the E-L!

Ok, so not quite “RE“introduce, but I couldn’t resist chanting the infamous Hov line because it was “oh so necessary“! My name is Melody Darlene and I am the newest addition to the C’est La Vie fam! I was born and raised in Floss Angeles, Cali with a short pit-stop of living near the Bay Area where I received my degree in Sociology (shot out to UCSC!). I could self-indulge and write a long ass story about me, but I’ll pretend for a second that I’m not a Leo and save you all from my vanity. I’m a young Latina who’s educated by the books, yet still understands the hustle of the streets. TIP said it best, “I’m the opposite of moderate, immaculately polished with the spirit of a hustler and the swagger of a college kid. Allergic to the counterfeit, impartial to the politics. Articulate but still would grab a BITCH by the collar quick!”

“In a nutshell — I curse like a sailor, drink like a fish, dance like a Jabbawockee (I can pretend right?), I fly like paper and get high like planes… “society” might label me a “weed head”, but Cali will tell you that I’m just a simple girl with severe headaches and a medical marijuana card (you be the judge).”
